Hello, baby bird. we need to talk.

December was a very tiring, stressful, and exhausting month. I work as a supermarket cashier and at the end of the year, there are a lot of parties and last minute shopping that totally changed my work routine and made it impossible for me to draw. But on the bright side, this month I had a great bonus to invest in new equipment

But... now we need to talk seriously about the main subject, which I'm going to separate into topics:

1- The updated Mallow reference drawing for the animation, and my animation project...

The big elephant in the middle of the room.

Twitter is my main platform where I have more relevance. But just as Twitter rewards me a lot with each new project, unfortunately it punishes me just as much.

The problem is that I lost a lot of followers and this made me analyze how my audience would react to my absence (especially in a future period working on animation, for example).

I also realized that a lot of very good animations by a lot of excellent artists appeared on Twitter during my absence, and I kind of felt that the animations had Become saturated and would no longer appeal to an animation project. especially an experimental and beginner project like mine.

So I decided to temporarily suspend my reference drawing of Mallow and my animation "Pornstar For a Day".

I'm going to wait a little while for more study and until I find a more favorable moment for me. Because right from the start, this project had a lot of planning and execution problems, which ended up wearing me out.

2- Maybe you'll ask me:

*Will we ever see the updated Mallow reference design?

Yes, but the reference drawing will have to be done someday... doing reference drawings of my characters doesn't happen very often, because for me it's boring and not fun to do. Because I end up trying to "perfect" the character all the time.

Instead... at the beginning of the year, I'm going to prepare a special sexy scene for her, with action and context, and in the creative and lively way that I like to do.

And you'll see her renewed and doing the naughty stuff.

*And her animation, when will it be released?

For now, it's uncertain when I'll get back to working on the animation, it's still my dream and I'm investing heavily in buying a laptop and a tablet to work on this project. but for now, I intend to put this project aside for the time being. I have to focus mainly on my "Motherfucking Day" comic project and maybe work on the animation when I finish this comic... until then, I think the community won't be so sick of animations for now

3- And about 2024.

I confess to you that I'm not in a good phase as a cartoonist... But I'm going to try to make nice simple drawings and not "perfect" ones. The whole of 2023 was a big struggle with "perfectionism" and the search for the "impossible perfect" that made me keep correcting or redoing the drawings all the time, for a waste of time that would get me nowhere.

So I decided that in 2024 I was going to do things differently, to focus on having fun producing a new drawing instead of coming up with something "impossibly perfect and self-destructive".

And in January, I'm already going to start producing a lot more porn parodies and less of my OC projects and work more on the Chapters of my comic that deserve a lot of attention.

Those are my plans for 2024 and yes, I'm coming back... December is finally coming to an end along with all this end-of-year workload. and I'm certainly excited to get back to working on the drawings as normal.
